Once you have made the decision to seek therapy, the next step is to find the “best fit” therapist for you. My goal as a clinical psychologist is to assist each client on their journey to personal success. I’ve helped people make positive and meaningful changes in their lives by assisting them to work through feelings and change unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns. Thus assisting clients to create and maintain the life they desire. My areas of interest and expertise include, but are not limited to, mood and anxiety disorders and borderline personality disorder.
I specialize in evidenced based treatments of children, adolescents and adults. I typically describe myself as a cognitive behavioral therapist with an integrative approach. I am intensively trained in DBT and lead skills groups. My style is direct, warm, and compassionate.
While change, healing, and growth can be difficult, it can also be humorous and fun. I tailor treatment to the unique needs and strengths of each client and strongly believe that creating and maintaining a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship is vital to success.
