We may even find new directions in unrevisited moments, flyaway thoughts, unspoken beliefs, and stifled feelings that arise in our process together. Drawing on evidence-based approaches as well as your own innate wisdom, we will work together to identify obstacles, change limiting beliefs, and set in motion your evolving sense of self and your world. Having come from a multicultural background, changed careers, and worked with diverse populations, I have continuously reflected on my personal identity amidst family, social, and cultural influences.
I utilize an evidence-based, person-centered, psychodynamic, and collaborative approach tailored to your unique situation. With a relational and systems perspective, I work to understand the larger context of your life and your relational patterns to understand the roots of the challenges you face. As I gain a clearer picture of who you are, I will offer experiential exercises, relaxation techniques, feedback, further exploration, and other approaches to help you leverage your innate strengths toward growth and self-understanding. Some of the approaches I will use include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness based practices.
