I create and hold space for clients to explore themselves in a more in depth way, including but not limited to their thoughts, triggers, emotions, experiences, patterns of behavior and relationships. As we examine these aspects of life, we work together to gain insight and knowledge, as well as develop the skills necessary to reach the clients’ personal goals.
I work alongside clients as they explore their inner world, gain insight and develop self-compassion that provides them with the ability to choose how they respond to life experiences so that they can live a meaningful and joyful life that aligns with their true values.
My goal in therapy is to facilitate clients’ gain of individual autonomy. We work as partners to explore clients’ triggers, reactions, thoughts, feelings, relationships and patterns of behavior to obtain insight and knowledge. With this wisdom and understanding, clients gain the ability to make choices that are in alignment with their personal values and goals. Through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness, clients have the opportunity to obtain the skills necessary to understand how they relate to their life experiences and the systems and dynamics that influence those experiences, as well as to obtain the skills to cope with whatever life experiences may present.
