My goal is to help people realize their potential by helping them recognize and work through thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are holding them back.

Diana Dimitri, Ph.D.

Staff Therapist

You’ve probably come here because you’ve tried other things that haven’t worked. I wish I could tell you that things get better. But, it doesn’t get better. You get better. My job is to help you get there.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with almost fifteen years experience treating a wide array of clients in diverse settings. I obtained my Ph.D. from Fordham University where I did a concentration in neuropsychology. As a licensed psychologist, I have experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological testing of adolescents and adults. I also conduct bariatric evaluations for those considering surgery.

I work primarily with adolescents, adults, and couples. My areas of interest/expertise include depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, and eating disorders. I utilize CBT (cognitive behavior therapy) and DBT (dialectical behavior therapy, when applicable) and have found both approaches to be extremely helpful in providing symptom relief. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated and open, and welcome the opportunity to work with you in achieving your treatment goals.
