Clinical Intern

Caroline Boucher, MSW Candidate

I believe that therapy is a unique and valuable way to gain insight, help you navigate life’s challenges and improve your relationship with yourself and others.

I work with adults, children, adolescents, families and couples, utilizing a unique, integrative approach for each client. I strive to meet clients where they are and use a strengths-based approach to find the treatment that works best for them. Some of the therapeutic modalities I utilize in my practice are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention.

My goal in therapy is to create and hold a safe space for clients to not only gain a deeper understanding of oneself, but also to use this knowledge as a means to create change in one’s life and relationships. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process, so I prioritize working together with my clients to identify and achieve their goals. I have experience working with diverse populations and recognize that we as individuals do not exist in a vacuum. I utilize a systemic approach to assess the ways in which your positionality as a member of a family, community and society impact your lived experience.
